Graduates Employment Rate Rises

In a study by Eurostat, Portugal ranks 19th in the employability of recent graduates, with a percentage of 85.9%, slightly above the European Union average (85.5%). The table is led by Malta (96.7%), followed by the Netherlands (94.8%), Germany (94.3%) and Luxembourg (94.0%). At the bottom of the table, with employment rates below 80% are Spain (77.9%), Croatia (75.2%), Italy (62.8%), and Greece (59.0%).

These data for 2018 show that 85.9% of recent graduates, aged between 20 and 34, who have completed higher education in the previous three years have found employment.
