The Portuguese Government decided to extend air traffic restrictions until 30th April 2021.
Flights remain suspended, except for repatriation flights, flights to EU and Schengen countries and flights to and from special administrative countries and regions, whose epidemiological situation is in line with the EU recommendation, such as Australia, China, South Korea, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Macau.
Only essential journeys from European Union countries and Schengen area countries with an incidence rate of 150 cases per 100 000 inhabitants in the last 14 days are allowed. The following countries include Germany; Austria; Belgium; Denmark; Slovakia; Spain; Greece; Italy; Latvia; Lithuania; Luxembourg; Norway; Romania; Switzerland.
Passengers of flights and citizens who enter Portugal by land, with origin and/or transit in the following countries, must comply with a prophylactic isolation period of 14 days: South Africa; Brazil; Bulgaria; Chéquia; Cyprus; Croatia; Slovenia; Estonia; France; Hungary; Netherlands; Poland; Sweden.
This measure do not apply to participants in international professional sports competitions listed in Order No 3894-A/2021.
As with the air traffic restrictions established before, all passengers, regardless the nationality, will also be required to present the proof of the negative PCR test.
