The number of licensing requests for local accommodation has decreased by 40% nationwide in the first 3 months of this year. In Lisbon, this was the largest drop, around 60%.
In an interview with Correio da Manhã (CM), the president of the Association of Local Accommodation in Portugal (ALEP), says that “this break not only does not scare but is even healthy. It is a normal phase, what was foreseeable”.
