On June 12, Lamares, Capela & Associados wrote an article about “Portugal is the 3rd most peaceful country in the world“, something that attracts many foreigners to move to Portugal. InterNations recently released a study, Expats Inside 2018, which assessed the life quality of 68 countries and Portugal is in 2nd place.
This assessment was based on these factors: entertainment options, personal happiness, means of transportation, health, safety, and digital life.
“I love how peaceful, safe, and family-friendly Portugal is”
Overall, foreigners living in Portugal are impressed with the quality of the environment (96%) and the climate (94%). The tranquility in the country and security are factors that immigrants show to be completely satisfied with, 73% consider their security excellent people.
A US expatriate agrees that the country is “peaceful, safe and family-centered” and a study of Brazilians living in Portugal concludes that the change of country was because they sought security.
