For whom it is intended:

It is aimed at students who are enrolled in higher education in Portugal.

Requirements:

To obtain this visa, the student must, among other things, show that it has been accepted at a higher education establishment in Portugal.

Process

Step 1 – Visa application

The temporary stay visa must be requested at the Portuguese Consulate of the country of residence or citizenship.

The visa issued entitles the holder to multiple entries into Portugal and is valid for a period of less than one year.

Step 2 – Visa issuance

After the interview at the Consulate, the latter must issue the visa within 30 days.
